Renovation and addition to 1930’s cottage in coastal Connecticut. The homeowners are empty nesters pursuing painting, gardening and cooking. The original plan consisted of all closed rooms on the first floor. We opened the house to have clear sight lines from the front door all the way to the kitchen.
