Nestled amongst original 1920’s era homes, Erik Travis (a John Toole design partner) designed this newly-constructed 4200 sq.ft. home. Intended for a growing young family, Erik considered the proportions and style of the surrounding neighborhood when creating this contemporary residence. Timeless and inviting, the modern design exhibits a regional vernacular which is carried throughout the home. Perched atop a sloping knoll, the home is planned around a side courtyard and a centralized kitchen at its core. Taking advantage of its location, Erik employed large commercial-style windows which provide expansive views from the main living spaces. The private master suite opens to the courtyard and gardens. Its spa-like bathroom has a freestanding tub, huge walk-in shower and an abundance of natural light.
