Let Me Help Create Your Beautiful Living Space. How do I start my interior design project? There are so many options, how do I choose between them? How do I come up with an overall plan? These are some of the many questions people have when designing a new living space. Whether it’s a new kitchen, living room or an entire home, creating a completely new space you will live in and love for many years can be an intimidating process for anyone. For twenty five years, I have been partnering with both corporate and private clients to create beautifully designed spaces that fulfill their unique needs and reflect their style. My design process takes away the guesswork for my clients. Together through a series of steps, we determine the project’s aesthetic, scope, budget, and time frame. My process eliminates the intimidation factor and makes the design project as exciting and fulfilling as it should be. Please browse my portfolio and see some of the many award winning living spaces that I have designed. While all of my projects reflect my clients’ personal tastes, I think you’ll see that my clean, classic approach to design is also apparent throughout all of them. Please contact me today to discuss your interior design project. My Background Upon completion of my degree from Cape Technikon School of Art and Design in Cape Town, South Africa, I began as a junior designer in an office furniture dealership in 1990, and then as a hospitality designer for Eric Hoffman and Associates in 1991. I further developed my expertise in hotel design by focusing on design projects in the hospitality industry. After Eric Hoffman, I became head of the in-house Interiors Project Team with Southern Sun Group. During my three years at Southern Sun Group, I completed projects for hotels and restaurants within South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya. One of my most noteworthy projects is a design of the Tau Game Lodge, which entailed the completion of a 30-chalet game lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve, bordering Botswana. Fulfilling my goal to expand my career abroad, I relocated to Boston in 1999 and was hired by Elkus Manfredi Architects as a senior designer. The majority of my work at Elkus Manfredi was for corporate and biotech clients, namely, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Broad Institute and Novartis. My Novartis project, at 220 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was awarded LEED platinum. My ability to work across diverse platforms is exemplified in prestigious restaurant projects, specifically the design of Great Bay, in the Fenway area. My business, Justine Sterling Design, has evolved as a result of my continuation to build on my diverse and extensive design career as one of the leading interior designers in the industry. My residential projects are extremely varied – from small, urban condominium redesigns to kitchen renovations to
