Ruth’s work draws inspiration from her extensive travels around the globe and her great love of nature. This is reflected even in her most modern designs, where a natural sensuality comes from her love of organic materials.

Ruth grew up on Sydney’s stunning northern beaches, under the brilliance of the Australian sky. Her childhood was also spent under the more subtle hues of English brambles, the aged patina of Old Madrid and the saturated warmth of French New Caledonia. All of this instilled an appreciation for texture, colour and the use of artisan textiles and techniques, which Ruth brings to each of her projects
