Country Kitchen
When former clients left a small rural bungalow and moved to a larger in-town house to better accommodate the needs of their growing family, they found that while they loved the new house and location, the kitchen didn’t work for them. Small and dark with poor quality cabinets and appliances, it was not livable. Worse, there was no relationship to the outdoors. The East wall, which could have looked out on the gardens, had no windows. The south windows, overhung by a deep porch were always in shadow. And in winter, the entry, open to the elements, blasted cold air into the space.
