My client in Moorestown wanted to turn her plain master bedroom into a very restful retreat. It should be easy on the eyes and have room darkening treatments.

My design began with color inspired from the beautiful painting featured near the entrance of the room. Tones of tan on the walls and rusty red and brown were chosen for the fabrics for the bedding and window treatment. We were using my client’s existing furniture so I reupholstered the bed in a brown to contrast with the light finish. A builder grade vanity area was decoratively painted and floor to ceiling mirrors were added to reflect light and create a feeling of spaciousness. A decorative vanity mirror and the perfect chandelier finished it off with just the right touch.
