Virginia Tesi Design Inc. was contacted immediately after the client had purchased this one bedroom / one bath apartment on the Upper East Side. Direct collaboration with the architect to draw up the apartment and submit demolition / construction plans and alteration agreement to the co-op board.

Once approved Virginia Tesi Design Inc. oversaw the demolition and construction phase. Managing all contractors and vendors from the first rip out to the last installation.

Re-configuring the kitchen and opening up the dining area to the living room to create an open floor plan ideal for entertaining. Closing off the second entrance to the master bedroom to create a more efficient space to sleep, dress and store. Gutting the bathroom and replacing with high end plumbing fixtures, quartz stone products and better storage solutions.

All furniture, materials and finishes were all selected and installed based on quality, beauty, maintenance and coordination with the client’s existing items.
