We removed a wall that separated the dining room and kitchen and created one big space for a large island and table (not shown). By utilizing space behind the kitchen we were able to fit a bar area that is adjacent to the kitchen and living area. The original house had a small powder room, but we utilized space from an existing closet and created a full bath that can be used with the first floor bedroom (not shown).
