Working on this grand colonial to accommodate the needs of a busy family was a lot of fun, and I truly enjoyed partnering with my clients (and friends) to personalize their new home, mixing tradition with a modern sensibility. I was inspired by a few wonderful heirloom furniture pieces, that we worked together to restore, such as the walnut sideboard with caned sliding doors, and a terrific brass tray that was redesigned into a cocktail table.
