The Goal:
Update the family room to a more contemporary style. Design a floorplan that will seat at least 6-8 people. Choose new upholstered furniture to replace existing pieces that have begun to show their age. Add other furniture and accessories as necessary to complete the look.

The Success Story:
The clients frequently travel and love to entertain when they are home. Bringing back wonderful stories as well as unique objects from their trips, the family room has a personal energy. The space comes together with two comfortable Miles Talbott sofas in a beautiful blue. Paired with the sofas are an Artistica cocktail table and end table for a clean contemporary look. The clarity and light coming through the glass of the cocktail table really shows off the colorful modern art center-piece. Focusing on a vibrant color palette for the sofas, earth tones were chosen for the Stressless leather recliners and ottomans. Colorful accents are added with floral design throw pillows in brown and blue. The original art, existing pieces, new furniture and accessories combine smoothly. The result is a comfortable contemporary space with an upbeat feel where the clients will enjoy entertaining family and friends.
