In 2015 Stripe was approached by a homeowner in Santa Cruz looking to remodel the first floor of her Victorian home. The home had many beautiful original elements, including coffered ceilings and wainscoting, but the kitchen and color palette needed updating to bring the home together. By adding strategic built –ins in the living and dining room that meshed seamlessly with the original architectural elements, the client ended up with more functional spaces central to the home. The kitchen received a full update as well, with greige shaker style cabinets, bronze hardware, and brass lighting accents. To energize and modernize the home, a bold graphite and teal color palette was implemented in the dining and living room, complete with a new painted fireplace.
