This couple had very different styles, the husband was looking for Modern/Eclectic and wife is definitely French Country. The challenge was to meet in the middle and give each something they loved as well as a statement piece. The Statement Piece is definitely the customized chandelier. The wrought iron scroll canopy hanging from the ceiling with the spider Edison bulb chandelier is one of a kind and customized for this family.

The Speak Easy art work belonged to the husband and had been in storage for many years we decided to clean it up and get them custom framed in leather which was a subtle but masculine way to break up the feminine accents.

The French Country pieces we were able to reuse the homeowners antique sewing machines as buffet servers and adding the reclaimed wood wine rack completed the look on that wall. Previously the room was not being used and we are delighted that its now a family & friends space where they host many dinners and holiday get togethers.
