This remodel began with a challenge. An older home that had previously been added on to with a layout that just didn’t make any sense. The home seemed pieced together over time and there was no rhyme or reason to anything in the space. The layout was not functional at all. We began by completely re-planning the layout of the home to bring function and a good traffic flow back to the space. This included moving and removing walls, raising ceilings, and re-configuring the layout of bedrooms. This allowed us to expand the kitchen area into a large functional space that worked well for our homeowners who love to cook. We created a better flow throughout the house, removed dead space and turned it into functional usable space. An office space was created and the master bathroom was expanded by borrowing space from a neighboring bedroom. In doing so we created larger more open spaces in each area of the home and a more functional home that finally works for the clients needs. It was a large project with a beautiful outcome.
