This desert getaway was the dream of this Midwest couple when they purchased this spec home. With the intention of moving right in, the designer’s challenge was to spontaneously furnish and accessorize it so that it would feel like home from the minute they walked in. In a few weeks’ time, the home was ready and awaiting the new homeowners. The finish selections were fairly neutral and allowed the look to evolve based on the purchase of a few core pieces. As the color scheme and the personality took shape with each selection, the house became a home.
The asset of this home is its spectacular setting within the golf community, so with that in mind, the designer took that resort style concept and ran with it. The house quickly became a relaxing and inviting retreat for its homeowners and their guests.
