Living Room Redesign

I hired LW Interiors to redecorate my transitional living room, which posed some major design challenges: a massive built in wall unit, soaring ceilings, fireplace, and a wall that juts out on either side of the two story high plantation shuttered windows– nothing quite centered and several focal points. Linda was patient and supportive as we discussed options to build a new room from the floor up, starting with a gorgeous 11×14 rug inspired by a contemporary painting above the fireplace. We shopped separately and together once a color palate (earth tones with orange accents) was chosen. Two leather wingback chairs now flank the fireplace. Next came a large but not overwhelming sectional that helps to balance the room. Linda encouraged me where to save and when to spend. I’m glad she convinced me to custom order a glass and metal coffee table to get the right proportions. Pushing out the sectional from the window wall and putting long console tables behind it solved a number of issues and allowed us to introduce two gorgeous lamps that provide extra lighting. Comfort and style goals accomplished! I highly recommend LW Interiors.
