After Hurricane Katrina came through New Orleans in 2006 Boyles Furniture was contacted by the Dr. Phil Show and DIY Network to see if they would some gift certificates to the home owners towards some new furniture. Boyles jumped right on board to help these 3 families. Kathy Gordon was one of the Interior Designers selected to furnish one of the homes. She gathered as much information about the family and the home and she began selecting furniture, accessories, mattresses and window treatments. Kathy and her team then filled the truck and headed to New Orleans for the installation. On Friday October 27, 2006 the Dr. Phil Show surprised the families with the reveal of their homes restored and furnished.
