CONTEMPORARY AUSTIN RESIDENCE
Contemporary and eclectic 10,000 square foot home with approximately 2,500 sq. ft. of decks in Westlake Hills overlooking Austin. The clients wanted a home that was “elegant yet comfortable” with inviting, open spaces for entertaining. To insure comfort, most of the upholstery has down in the construction. The clients requested that majority of the furnishings be designed by Sherry Garrett. Most are one-of-a-kind pieces made in a mixture of luxurious materials including rare woods such as Maccassar ebony and Zebrawood, acrylic, inlaid Italian marble,leathers, and silk. Many are pieces from the Sherry Garrett Collection which features rare exotic hides. Architecture: Emily Little Associates
