Leslie Thornton Stephens, born in Virginia, spent the last 20 years in Richmond while traveling and studying art and design in the US, Paris, London and Belgium. In 2000, she graduated with honors from VCU’s Department of Interior Design. Leslie went on to work with local architecture and design firms, gaining experience and proficiency in residential architecture. In 2003, she earned NCIDQ certification to become a Certified Interior Designer, and established Leslie Stephens Design shortly thereafter. An artist, wife, mother, daughter, and enthusiast of all things design, Leslie is currently renovating her own home with her husband, a custom home builder and general contractor.
