This 1910 Manor House had beautiful historical detail, which we focused on and built around when it was fully renovated recently. The Entry Hall was doubled in size, in order to capture the light from an existing window that was in the Entry Hall closet, making the space very narrow and uninviting. Tints of color were used in most rooms in shades of gray, pale blues and sea salt. Sisal carpets were used to add texture, instead of pattern in the rooms. The Kitchen popped with black countertops, a black and white glass tile for the section above the range and a strong graphic black and white geometric at the windows from Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Shades of light blues and grays set the scene in the Master Bedroom and Sitting room, with windows overlooking a beautiful hilltop setting. The house provides a very tranquil setting for the active family that lives here.
