Post War NYC Apartment
This New York City apartment is in a classic post war 60’s building with iconic parquet floors. The client was committed to keeping her raspberry sofa and club chair. The color palette was based around the colors in the throw rug. The accent walls are BM Green Hydrangea. The other walls are BM Sweet Celadon. The kitchen’s warm brown granite countertops and cool blue/grey glass tiles were pulled together using BM Mt. Rainier Gray on the walls. The bedroom sports a warm taupe called BM Kid Gloves. All photography by Carl Bellavia.
