This project involved helping a family move from a Chapel Hill home on a small lot to a larger home on a larger lot in nearby Pittsboro. The mostly traditional home was starting to show its age and needed some updates. Major projects were painting and flooring throughout, converting a bedroom into an upstairs laundry and master walk-in closet, converting a poorly designed laundry room into a highly functional mudroom, updates to all the finishes in the kitchen along with some functional updates along with updates to all of the bathrooms. The updated traditional look pleases the eye and makes the family feel right at home.
