In this design build renovation project, we extended and redesigned the fireplace to accommodate for the relocated television and finished it with textured porcelain tile. The nonstructural ceiling beams were removed, which increased the sense of volume and space. and the kitchen was completely remodeled. Two bathrooms were renovated, new doors and windows were installed throughout, a new lighting plan was designed, and a custom cabinetry desk area created. The finished product had an updated Hamptons style feeling with a Midcentury modern twist, brought in by using the client’s own coffee table and lamp.
