Middleburg Renovation and Addition
The renovation of a dated, 1976 ersatz Tudor, achieved a light, color filled traditional/transitional Virginia farmhouse style. A stair hall went from drab to “wow” when reconfigured and cheerful, glazed colors were incorporated. Walls were removed between the kitchen and former dining room to create a sitting area and an airy eating area with sliding doors to a new patio. Walls were glazed in multiple hues which continue the color flow to adjacent areas of the house.
