A dated family room with the typical bland color on walls and unremarkable fireplace begged for a face lift to a more updated, inviting style becoming of the new home owners’ design aesthetic. We added stone to the fireplace wall, carrying it over the doorway for greater impact. Painting a rich brown paint color with a contrast wallcovering behind bookcases provided the drama desired. Beautiful rich textiles used on the seating and a thick lush area rug provides a comforting tactile experience. A custom sofa shaped to fit perfectly in the bay window, along with stationary drapery panels accent the beautiful space. Kitchen was updated with new furnishings, drapery panels, art and accessories in updated colors.
