Our clients wanted to change their bonus room, which was currently a guest bedroom, into an entertainment room for their teenage daughter’s birthday in a few days! That meant removing the current furniture, buying new furniture and decor, and having it all delivered and set up in 2 days! We did it though, and she loved it!

It was an open space with neutral paint, so there was a great base with which to start.

Since we had to do everything quickly and on a budget, we did a Shop Along to a few stores including Target and At Home. We started with a neutral, modern sofa and rug, then built around that with fun accent furniture, pillows, and decor.

We kept one of the beds, simplifying the look with bedding they already had, and updated wall and nightstand decor.

There are still some additions they can make longer term, which we discussed, including benches or console tables at the end of the room and additional artwork. They have a great foundation to build upon though and are already enjoying the new room!
