This condominium just east of downtown Cleveland used to be a tangle of dark and closed off spaces. A complete redefinition of rooms and usage created an open and flowing home with abundant light and endless views of the surrounding waterfront landscape. To heighten the impression of its shoreline locale, we chose to create a vocabulary of materials that evoked those surfaces found in a yacht and on the beach. The palette is deliberately pale to reflect the endless variations in daylight and sunset that happen in this rare atmosphere.
