The “Marina Style” house is ubiquitous in San Francisco and is found throughout the City. The house was completely gutted and has two levels and a lovely garden in the back. All materials used were sustainable, and this home is certified GBCI by the Green Building Certification Institute. We used reclaimed wood floors. The furnishings are either vintage, reclaimed wood and metal and upholstery is eco foam, natural fibers and no fire retardants. Walls are plaster or eco clay paint. We used Conrad shades, doubled and unlined for additional privacy while allowing light to flood the room. All are carpets are vintage, antique or wool.
