Empty nesters request for this Moorpark kitchen and entry remodel tripled the size of the original kitchen and accommodated the client’s need for Age-In-Place accessibility, large Sunday family dinners with multiple cooks, and wheelchair accessible floors throughout. Rather than lowering all the counter tops,, we customized a pullout island which tucks away under counter when not in use and does not impede a wheel-chair turning radius, but the custom lower height allows for use while sitting.
