This house was completely cut in half and raised three feet. The lower level has been totally remodeled. The walls were originally cement and the windows were tiny. After replacing all the windows, finishing and painting walls, a lighting design was implemented which focused on a layered effect. SLH Design Inc. designed this room to create an old world mood. The furnishings are traditional and the accessories are meant to suggest a bit of Italy. The colors are warm and the room is open and relaxing.
