This condominium was selected by the clients to be their new Forever Home. After living in the residence for a couple of years with minimal changes, they requested a completely redesigned look to help the home reflect their new design goals and lifestyle. One of the main areas to address was the need for storage. We designed a custom built-in for the dining room to help create more closed storage. Addressing flexibility in the dining room was also part of the design concept. To creatively address this, we designed two custom dining tables that could be put together for large gatherings of family and friends, as well as pulled apart to offer a more intimate dining for daily use. The dual tables also allowed for a seating option to enjoy the river, read the paper, or do a puzzle.
