Bunker Workshop updated and expanded the kitchen for this penthouse apartment in Boston’s South End. Instead of hiding odd quirks, (triangle alcove, rough, rough brick, long retired pizza oven) we decided to embrace them. They are juxtaposed with new details that suit the client’s needs- some modern, some not so modern. Beautiful daylight floods the apartment from the sink window; we eliminated all upper cabinetry and walls to encourage that light to flood the space.
