The existing kitchen was a much different style for the new home owners. It looked dark and heavy with the custom window treatments. To save on the budget, we brightened the room by painting the existing cabinets. We added LED lighting underneath and above the wall cabinets. We replaced the tile countertops with dark walnut butcher block and added a white marble backsplash in a herringbone pattern. A custom window seat cushion brought the existing chair colors and the colors of the room together.
