The inspiration for this design plan came from artwork hung in the client’s Great Room. The artwork, reminiscent of rusted tin tiles, was refinished in a pewter color and placed over the fireplace as a focal point. Tin tiles selected in Silver Washed Pewter were installed as the new surround and hearth for the custom wood mantle. Next, the builder grade natural gas fireplace was replaced with an energy efficient insert. ?
