The clients were hoping for a non-traditional take on a living room space merged with a kids playroom. When the family moved into their new home the playroom was originally in their finished basement, but with an active toddler bouncing around and another little on the way they needed a better solution. We created a space that kids feel comfortable to play in while staying with-in a safe distance of near by parents. The family opted to forgo their formal living room, that would rarely be used, and have a space both adults and kids could enjoy spending time in together. With smart organization solutions, kid friendly furniture, and mature accessories, the space is truly a sophisticated playroom.
