This large living room space had no architectural features when Pat started working on the design. The client asked for a fireplace, a comfortable chair to read by, a daybed to enjoy the garden by day, and a glamorous room to entertain in at night. The cook-top island was designed so that the client could face her guests as she cooked an then plate the food in front of them. The wall oven is conveniently placed near the island.
