The intent of the design of this magnificent lakeside home was to take traditional Adirondack architecture and update it. The architecture features dramatic exposed timber frame details and expansive water views. The challenge was to take these stunning, open concept spaces and make them comfortable to live in on a human scale.
Through close work with the architectural designer the interior spaces were customized to showcase the timber frame architecture, maintain water views from every room in the house and still create comfortable, livable spaces. This home features many custom luxury details and finishes yet it lives as a casual, approachable lakeside home.
