The renowned architect, William Lawrence Bottomley, designed this house in 1925 for the banker Fred J. Miller. Among other exemplary works he was responsible for River House, one of Manhattan’s most luxurious buildings. We had the privilege of working on this house with a wonderful couple. They hired us to redesign the existing kitchen, pantry, master bathroom, solarium cabinetry, living room bar, and an assortment of odds and ends. We worked in collaboration with the very talented architect Bryan Cates, and an excellent team of contractrors and craftsmen from Castleridge Construction. A Royal Builders did much of the finished cabinetry and paneling work.
