We’re glad to be reporting another successful move orchestrated outside of our usual comfortable New York City confines—in fact our last job took NouvelleView all the way to the west coast! Our client, a Manhattanite for many, many years, rented out her lovely beachfront Malibu home and NouvelleView took up the task of organizing and moving all of her furniture back once the tenants moved out. First we arranged to have the furniture picked up, inventoried on content and condition, and then stored in a warehouse in California. During our retrieval of the inventoried items we tagged every piece in the warehouse according to to its next destination: Orange for Malibu, Yellow for the client’s sister, Green for storage. Our staff put in two full days of sorting to make sure the move was completed promptly and properly. Once the furniture was taken to the Malibu house, Nouvelleview restored the client’s home to exactly how it had been arranged before the tenants’ arrival—every dish in its proper cabinet, every accessory in its former place. We were delighted to see our client’s pleased reaction; it’s always extremely satisfying for us to leave a job well done!
