We began this project by taking inventory of a substantial collection of contemporary art and mid-century modern furniture from the client’s former five bedroom home to design their new ‘retirement’ home. New kitchen and bathrooms were designed and the existing furnishings were reworked into the remainder of the living spaces. Of special note is the original Harvey Probber barrel chairs and William Platner coffee table in the living room. Beautiful woven-to-size natural roman shades add the finishing touch, gently filtering the natural light without blocking the view to the private pond
