Hirshson Architecture + Design assisted a homeowner relocating from Brooklyn to Westchester to update their new home. The young family sought to add a personal touch to their center hall colonial by utilizing custom cabinets on the first floor, and a complete renovation of the finished lower level. The latter included a new bar area with custom millwork finished in a deep blue and set against brass hardware. Additional details included a dedicated arts and crafts table, an office, a media room, an exercise room, and a modern bath with shower for guests.
