A traditional home gets a new make-over for a young family looking to provide a second chapter to a beautiful home. Working with the home’s original architect, Judith Larson, the main 2 floors were updated with new mouldings and doorways, and then the kitchen, mudroom, guest suite, attic, and master suite were fully renovated.
A request for blue throughout the home was balanced with a complementary palette of yellows, greens, browns and pinks, all weighted differently in each room but providing a flow throughout the home.

Furnishings were meant to evoke summer, a favored season, but were be just as appropriate during all other seasons. All furnishings and fabrics are very family-friendly, and thus, all rooms get wide use. This is truly a happy home, and it is felt as soon as you enter the home.
