The apartment is a bit over 1,000 sf. with 2 bedrooms (1 guest bedroom and the master) and 2 full bathrooms. In order to make the space seems bigger I started by selecting a rectangular white imported tile with a matte finish in the largest format available (24” x 48”) for the entire apartment. This way, I was able to reflect the most natural light possible into the space. Then I began to play around with the layout, incorporating large pieces of furniture —like the sectional sofa, the marble dining table, cabinets and large pieces of art— not just to get the most efficiency in terms of the use of the space, but to make the space feel clean and unified in terms of design, make it feel more luxurious and also larger.
