Michael Whaley Interiors worked closely with our clients from the moment they started having plans drawn for this new construction waterfront shingle style home. Our goal was to create an inviting and intimate feeling even though the rooms were expansive. A sense of relaxed elegance permeates this gracious residence incorporating the cool blue and cream palette and Swedish aesthetic requested by the client. Noteworhty features designed by Michael Whaley include hand stenciled and glazed walls, exterior gas lanterns from London, back to back sofa, neoclassical painted mirror panels, custom embroidered curtains, Japanese inspired tatami room, vaulted wine cellar and tasting room.
