This project was a knock down of an older cottage the family had enjoyed as their summer home for years. The location was key, on Canandaigua Lake. They decided to rebuild to meet their needs as a retired couple. The new plan was one level with a finished basement space for extended family when visiting. They were consolidating their suburban home as well, so each space was designed with existing furniture in mind. laying out the kitchen along with selecting all the interior and exterior finishes,including lighting, cabinetry, custom millwork, and flooring, were all part of the project. The home has an awesome exterior elevation with great views of the Lake from the main level master, kitchen, great room, music room and lower level.
