The aim of this dream project was to transform a dated Mediterranean into a chic and comfortable first home for a young Westchester family. High ceilings and open spaces called for anchoring elements, while tight deadlines called for instant updates. We stained wood floors a rich, weathered teak and enveloped rooms in toned-down neutrals that set off vibrant splashes of teal and chartreuse.
