The Thompson Hotel is located at Freed’s new 550 Wellington West condominium complex. The chic 102-guestroom hotel shares some amenities with the 336 condo units in the modernist architects Alliance-designed building. The hotel’s lobby though, is not one of them. Separate from the condominium lobby on parallel Stewart Street, the hotel lobby.

The lobby lounge, with funky wall-mounted cityscape by renowned Spanish artist Javier Mariscal(most of which is painted on the wall, while some extends from it
