CONCEPT | Social Cafe is located in San Francisco, will be serving to local
residents such as students and young professionals. The site is close to the University of California, art galleries, and theaters. The concept attempt to create a coffee shop conceived as hangouts spot that could double as a library. Two lounge areas work as mains gathering space creating a comfortable reading and conversation space in order to exchange
knowledge. A colorful color palette was chosen to bring a fresh and modern
aesthetic with vibrant hues and creating dark and light contrast. A dynamic composition inspired by the lines of the coffee beans was the inspiration to conceive the feature piece that works as bookshelves unit. This piece of furniture has a great spatial impact and maximizes the function of the space.
It is wrapping the half of the space coming from the ceiling to the wall adding dimension and rhythm while adding depth throughout the interior space.
