From dated and farmhouse to modern and bright—what a difference paint and colorful accents can make! When our clients brought us on the scene after purchasing this four-bedroom Palmetto Bluff home, the interior was dark and outdated, and the furniture layout was very closed off. We painted the entire interior of the home—no small undertaking—which brightened up the space dramatically! After refreshing the paint, we selected all new furnishings for the main space (with the exception of the client’s cool antique farmhouse table and coffee table) and started over with fresh, bright, modern pieces that really suited this homeowner’s tastes. Among our favorite updates: the kitchen cabinetry color change, modern gold lighting, and gold and lucite barstools! A modern art piece from our client’s grandmother inspired the coral chairs and lamps, and is now positioned prominently by the front gallery. We opted to keep the bedrooms serene and relaxing, with the exception of the upstairs bunk room—cobalt and coral were used in bold, fun, contrasting hues to brighten this playful space. The end result? A colorful, inviting, fresh vacation experience for any guest who stays in this beautiful Palmetto Bluff home!
