Magenta Poppy

SERIOUSLY!?
Are you kidding me?
I planted this poppy last Fall,
but didn’t know exactly
what it would look like.
When it opened,
I was shocked.
I’ve never seen another
poppy like it.
It’s such a beautiful,
bright, almost
fluorescent magenta.
I never knew
poppies could even
come in this color.
