This retired teacher had not redecorated her living room since she moved in with her vintage french provencial furniture in the late 70’s. Recognizing the value of her pieces, we modernized the sofa and chairs with paint and lovely modern fabrics. Adding in a shag rug, rustic coffee table and modern lamps as well as new gray paint and drapes, her space was transformed and modernized. The dining chairs were painted and reupholstered to bring in a pop of freshness and color to his small and dark space. The only furniture purchased in this space was the coffee table.
